Hey everybody! How is everything going back home! Be sure to send me emails about all the happenings! Ok, so this week was pretty great. We have been working with missionaries and members and we have been getting lots of referrals! Yesterday, due to libraries being closed for Martin Luther King Day (which, to be honest, I didn't even know was coming up) emails were postponed by the president until today. I keep getting emails about friends back home going on missions and it really makes me excited to think that so many of the people I have grown up with are making that decision which is something that I really admire. This week we had a FHE (family home evening) event at the institute. Generally Young Single Adults wards which consist of people from the ages 18-30 gather every Monday and have a family home evening activity to substitute for the one they would be having had they been single or back home with their families. President interviewed the all the missionaries in my zone including me last week and he told me that he wanted my companion and I to go to FHE's and other ward activities from now on with the prayerful attitude of obtaining referrals. We prayed about getting referrals this Monday and right away we got one at our FHE. I can testify that I know that our leaders are called of god and that they now how to lead us toward success both in our missions and in our lives. It always amazes me how obedience improves my overall experience as a missionary and opens my mind to things I couldn't possibly have comprehended before. I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity to serve and I would invite anyone who has not done so and is eligible to consider the call we have been given as youth to go forth and proclaim the things we know to be true.

I hope everyone has a very exciting week!

With firm conviction,

Elder Adair
