Week #26 - Winter Quarters YSA Ward

Hey everybody! This week was fantastic! We had 3 non members come to church and I think that the spirit was very strong! We taught a couple of less active members and had the opportunity to teach some investigators as well. We taught Makayla and Alex. Makayla has a boyfriend who is LDS and who will soon be going to the military for 10 months. He thought that it would be good if we started teaching her and she started coming to the YSA ward while he is gone. She had been previously going to his family ward. We had a lesson with Alex on sunday and he was very open to the things we taught him and I could tell that he could feel the spirit. Our involvement with the ward has really increased and with it so has the effectiveness of our work as missionaries. The mission president just assigned a senior couple to our ward to help us to work with the wards in our stake to reactivate and retain youth and we expect that in the process we will be able to teach some of their friends that way! Thank you guys for all the support! The solo I sang at the fireside this week went great and I could definitely feel the spirit.
