Hey everyone!!! This week has been awesome! It was transfer week so Elder de Graaf had to leave but I am still in the Winter Quarters YSA ward! I can't tell you how much I enjoy working in the YSA ward! The people here are by far the most energetic and happy individuals I have met and not coincidentally they are very spiritual and hard working! We have been teaching someone named McKayla and we talked to her this week about setting goals. We told her about how the devil works to stop individuals from entering the church and asked her to pray about a date that she would feel comfortable working towards baptism for. Her current concern is that her parents will not allow her to be baptized. There is a law that you have to be 19 to be an adult in Nebraska. We told her to set a goal for a date for baptism so that she can continue to progress and make it through for the next 6 months without her boyfriend (who is 20 and is going into the military). I am really hoping that it won't take that long. I believe if she continues strong in her goal to know that the church is true that her parents hearts will be softened and she will be able to be baptized! I hope everyone has a great week!
With firm conviction,
Elder Adair
