Week #29 - Winter Quarters YSA Ward

Hey, I'm guessing life back home (or wherever) is pretty exciting right now! My birthday came this week and now I am legally an adult in the state of Nebraska! You would think that wouldn't matter but it can be an inconvenience at times. This week was really fun. We spent a lot of time walking because we wanted to be able to work without going over our allotment of miles for our cars. In one day we walked a total of 15 miles down a really long street called ames. We walked right past what I am told is the most dangerous intersection in all of the united states: 30th and Ames. Neither of us were harmed in any way but there was a point where a couple of people looked angry and pointed in our direction, so we crossed the street so that we would be able to tell if they were following us. We lost an investigator because her parents are worried about her schooling and neither of them are sympathetic with the church. We have been praying really hard to get new investigators and this week like every missionary companionship gave us a call or a text saying that they had run into a young single adult while they were out teaching and thought that we could teach them and invite them to our ward. We were able to contact one named Nathan and I think if there is one person god needs me to teach on my mission it is him. His name is Nathan and his first question to us was what jesus's hair color was haha. I hope everyone has a good week and that you all have an opportunity to share the gift of the gospel to one of your friends who needs the spirit in their life!]

With firm conviction,

Elder Adair
