Hey! This week was fantastic! We got a lot done and I found out that I am still staying in the Winter Quarters YSA ward! We were able to give a less active member a blessing this week and I feel like he really opened up to us and decided that he was interested in learning about the gospel! It was really cool because he basically asked us for all of the study guides we had to help him to learn more so we gave him the guides for the first 3 lessons. Just yesterday my companion and I were deciding about whether or not it would be best to walk to our appointment in the favor of saving miles or to drive and at first he asked me and I decided I thought we should drive, but then he said that he felt like it would be better to walk so we ended up walking. As it turns out, we ended up getting flagged down by a man who was fixing his car and we helped him fix it. We missed both of our appointments but the man was very happy that we helped him and accepted a card with a link to the hallelujah video for Easter and said he would watch it!
Well, this week Elder Anderson and I taught our investigator named Cassie again and we went over what she needed to do to be worthy of being baptized. It was a really good lesson and we went from thinking about stopping teaching her to deciding we should continue to teach her. She ended up coming to church and bring her boyfriend/friend and he was interested in being taught as well!
Overall this week has been great and Elder Anderson and I are looking forward to serving another transfer together!
With firm conviction,
Elder Adair
