Wow, the weeks have been passing by quickly. I have been out almost an entire 9 months. The further I get into my mission the more quickly time flies. It seems like it has only been a couple days and my companion and I are already sitting down again to plan out a weeks worth of lessons and finding activities. This week was a good one. We ended up setting our investigator Cassie for baptism again after we had a serious talk about baptism and about having a testimony of Jesus Christ and his restored church. We also went back to one of our old investigators. We were prompted to go back to his house and to talk to his sister about learning more about the gospel and sure enough when we asked she said that she had been wanting to learn more. That was a pretty cool experience. We went on exchanges with our zone leaders this week and I learned a lot. One of my zone leaders goes home in 3 weeks and the other goes home in 9 weeks. The one who is going homein 9 weeks has been really stressed out recently with his calling as a zone leader and had to stay in because of his intense migraines. My poor companion stayed in all day with him and wasn't able to go out. We have interviews with our mission president tomorrow and I am really looking forward to getting some feedback on how he thinks I should work in my area and receive revelation from the things he says. We have been getting a really good relationship with the ward and have been working with a lot of less active members and it has been really fun. I have the feeling that I might get transferred in a couple weeks so I am trying to do my best to end strong in this area if I do. Thanks for your support and all your emails and letters! Have a great week!
With firm conviction,
Elder Adair
