Hey everyone! This week has been tough and fun at the same time! Elder Anderson and I have been working hard in this area to get lots of people to teach and work with! We spent about 4 hours this past week fixing inconsistencies in our area book and updating information about the people we are currently working with. It's all done now and we have very good records on who and what has been taught since I arrived in Omaha. We were also able to teach a few of our investigators including the one that had the cool dream! Her big hang up is that she doesn't quite understand the things we teach very clearly. She believes that God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the same and so she prays to Jesus because she says it would be the same as praying to God the Father. We will be teaching her about the plan of salvation this week if we don't get transferred.
Speaking of transfers, transfers are coming up and I will mostly likely be moving to another area! Transfers are exciting and dreadful at the same time, but I am anxious to find out what the final decisions are. It will be interesting with Mothers Day being next week. I can't wait to be able to see my family again and see how everyone is doing!
Sad news, one of the elders I came out with just went home today. He stayed with us for a day because we are in close proximity to the mission office and we have an extra bed. That makes 3 out of the elders I met in the MTC that were coming to Omaha, Nebraska.
We had a mission-wide conference call this week as well! Our president set up a conference call with all two hundred missionaries in our mission! That was pretty cool! We all shared and listened to miracles that have happened in the mission ever since we started focusing on connecting our investigators to Jesus Christ through the book of Mormon!
As always I am excited to hear from each of you so feel free to email me if you get the chance! I hope everyone has a great week!
With firm conviction,
Elder Adair
