Hey everyone!
This week has been pretty great! We were supposed to go on exchanges with our district leader but he got sick and cancelled on us. We had to improvise to set up some appointments, but it all worked out in the end! I have decided to start a challenge that was told to me by another missionary to memorize one scripture for everyday for my entire mission, so I have been working on memorizing scriptures during my lunchtime everyday. This week we had a miracle happen! We were out trying to find some new people to teach and we went to one of our former investigators' houses. We met her son, Tucker, and it turns out he had just applied to BYU and had spoken with our branch president last week! He was interested in learning about what we believe and so we have been teaching him this week! The miracle is that around the same time a few hundred miles away, his brother was visited by missionaries and has started taking the discussions! Their entire family is getting taught at the same time and they are all looking to join the church! Tucker is a really awesome guy and we are excited to teach him more about the gospel! We also found a new investigator this week by the name of John. We came to his house to see if he was interested and he told us to come back in an hour. We came back an hour later and he had an amazing discussion with us and we invited him to pray and come to church! I know that the lord plays a vital role in the lives of every one of his children and wants each of us to come unto him!
I hope everyone has a great week!
With firm conviction,
Elder Adair
