We had an unusual challenge this week. We have been having car trouble and so we went to get it fixed and they told us that they needed the car for about 6 hours. We gave them a day and then on that day we dropped off the car and walked around in the heat for most of the time trying to contact some people who told us in the past that they might be interested. We didn't find anyone who wanted to listen to us and not many people were home, but we did get a chance to help out an old lady who we learned was a pastor of one of the churches in mitchell. We have run into a lot of pastors this week. We talked to a pastor about what we believed about the restoration and he agreed to read and pray about the book of mormon. We also talked to a 91 year old Jehovah's witness lady. We did the same for her but she wasn't interested in letting us come back.

This week we were going through former investigators and we found an old investigator who missionaries in the area haven't seen for years. When we met him out on his porch he was very excited to see us and hear what we had to say. He has throat cancer and he doesn't look like he is weathering it very well. We will try and see him this week.

Well the mission is awesome! If you haven't gone on one and get the chance to go, go! It is a very important learning experience and the difference we make by sharing the gospel with others changes generations of people's lives. If you are done with your mission or can't go on one find ways to let people know about what you believe in! I hope everyone has a good week!

With firm conviction,

Elder Adair
