Week #57 - Mitchell Branch South Dakota

Good morning everyone!

Sorry for the delay in sending out this weeks update! We had the libraries close on us yesterday and we were given the go to take time out of our day today to get them sent out. This week has been great! We just learned that both of us are staying here this transfer so I will be with Elder Winward for at least another 6 weeks before I get transferred to my next area.

Well, this week another person agreed to be baptized, so now we have 4 people who we are just waiting to recognize their answer and be baptized. The ward is becoming more and more missionary oriented and we are getting more support as we show the members that we are willing to work with them to help strengthen our branch and teach their friends about the gospel. We haven't been given a referral yet, but I am expecting that it will happen when members feel more comfortable sharing their beliefs with their friends.

Training with Elder Winward is going fantastic and he is doing an excellent job when it is his turn to take the lead every once in a while.

Leonardo is learning and I feel like he is receiving his answer. This week we had a lesson with him and one of the Spanish elders came down to help teach him and see that he understood what we were trying to teach. He told us that he seems to have understood everything really well so far and he has honest intentions. I am glad that I have been given the opportunity to teach him.

We went on exchanges with our district leader for the last time this week! He goes home tomorrow so I won't be seeing him until after my mission!

I am glad that I have the opportunity to serve and I am glad that I get to share my experiences with each of you!
