Week #61 - Mitchell Branch South Dakota

Hey guys!

This week was amazing!

We got to watch general conference and I got a lot out of it, definitely a lot more than I used to. I really loved the talks given by Dallin H. Oaks about Missionary Work and the talk given by President Uchtdorf about The Plan of Happiness! They were powerful and seemed to emphasize an ever increasing focus on declaring the gospel to the world! We have a couple baptisms coming up, Steve and Charlene probably won't be baptized this week but two of the other people we were teaching are ready and will be baptized over the next two weeks! It is so exciting to see how people lives change as they prepare themselves for baptism by repenting and staying worthy! We had a couple of service opportunities that we took this week and we found a new investigator! Missionary Work is moving out here and I am happy because of it! I hope you all got something out of General Conference! It is truly amazing that we have the opportunity to hear the words of our prophets guiding us to come closer to Christ and to repent and live more devoted lives as disciple of him!
