Good morning everyone!

This week was crazy! I had my first district meeting and I was a bit nervous because our zone leaders were there and I felt like they were watching everything I did! Overall it was good and I felt the spirit! This was week we had a miracle finding out in the cold weather! We didn't have any appointments or any investigators to go see Saturday evening, and it was about 5 degrees, but we had located a group of about 24 four door apartment complexes to knock. We walked to the general area and Elder Reed and I knocked about 5 of them and in the process we met a man named Wesley! He is Native American and he told us that he was interested in learning more even though he thinks we may believe differently than he does. We taught him the full message of the restoration and had a prayer right there with him on his door step. We set up an appointment to come back and see him on Wednesday evening. His mother is a less active member of the church and lives right across from him so not only does he have us to witness to him but he has his mother to witness that our message is true! It seemed like the whole day the devil was trying to keep us from going out and Elder Reed and I were becoming discouraged but we decided to go out and tract anyway! This is yet another witness to me that the devil is trying hard to stop this work from progressing and it only motivates me to try harder!

This week we had church cancelled due to cold weather! The weather call service told us that there were up to 20 mph winds and it was at the low -11 degrees fahrenheit. Our president told us to stay inside and study the atonement so we all got together and ended up listening to talks about it from my usb.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! Merry Christmas!

With firm conviction,

Elder Adair
