Good Afternoon everyone!
This week was a bit rough. We got in an accident Wednesday evening and we hit a fire hydrant. My companion was driving and no one got hurt but it was definitely very crazy and it was quite an impact! It had been snowing that evening and we were on the way back from a dinner appointment to meet up with a member who was going to team up with us for the night and it kind of ruined our plans, but I guess we needed something to make our lives a little more exciting! It was a bit stressful but we finished all of the nasty paperwork and I still got to go on the special temple trip with our mission president two days later. With the accident and everything, our week mostly consisted of figuring things out with the cars and getting a temporary replacement as well as getting the old one repaired. We did however have a really good team up with one of our members the night before and we are now teaching Giselle about the gospel as a new investigator! Transfers are coming up this week and we are all a bit anxious to see if we will be getting rooted up and thrown into another new area. I have had a lot of time to reflect on my mission this week and I am glad that the Lord has led me to serve a mission. At times I recognize the blessings that have come from it in myself, in my family, in my companions, and in those we teach and I get emotional. I feel like my reliance on God and my relationship to him has grown far stronger than it had been before my mission and I am grateful for it! Here are some pictures of some of the wreckage!
Love you guys!
With firm conviction, Elder Adair
