This week has been fantastic!

We have experienced a very large amount of success this week! We found 2 new investigators and will potentially have an appointment with a family of about 4 new investigators this week. The work in this area is really great! I am excited to be serving here! I finished memorizing The Family: A Proclamation to the World this week and I am now working on The Living Christ! My companion and I are getting along great and we are working well together at setting appointments and keeping ourselves on track to visit several of the people in the area. We went out to Kansas this week and I have now officially taught in 4 of the 5 states that are included in our mission.

Here is an excerpt from my studies this week regarding "A Mighty Change of Heart" and what it means when a mighty change is wrought on our heart:

Wrought is a form of the verb work and can be related to hammering metal with tools to create something of worth or that is useful. I like to think that our hearts are like metal. When our hearts are hardened, there is nothing the Lord can do to reshape them, but as we humble ourselves, our flame of faith ignites and begins to grow, fueled by the truth of the words of our Savior and his servants. As our heart warms up, it becomes pliable and the Lord is able to hammer it into something fantastic and wonderful that we can't even imagine.

Love you guys! Have a great week!

With firm conviction.
