Week #94 - McCook Nebraska

Good morning everyone!

This week was transfers, no one left in our district but we did get two new elders, Elder Lewis and Elder Finkelstein. We had a craaaaazZZZzzy experience yesterday! We had been out knocking on wooden rectangles (doors) for a couple of hours when my companion felt prompted to knock on a door that we had knocked on yesterday. We knocked and rang the doorbell but no one answered the door. We noticed another house we had missed the day before and set off to talk to the people living inside. We met a kid named Branson who told us we could come back and as we were walking back up their driveway, the guy whose door we knocked yelled at us and as we passed his house he flashed a gun and threatened us with wide eyes saying "Try that stunt again and your next trip home will be in a body bag!". I never saw the gun, but my companion did and we walked back to our car and drove away. I guess some people are crazy, but that's the first one I've met knocking on over a thousand doors throughout my mission so it won't stop me now, although I certainly do not plan to set foot on that mans property again haha.

Our mission president is doing this cool new point thing and it has really helped to motivates us to be out and not to waste a single minute in doing the lords work! I hope everyone is doing well! Have a great week!
