Week #96 - McCook Nebraska

This week was great! Just after emails last week, we went out to go talk to people on the streets until dinner and we met a Cuban lady named Mirna. She told us that she firmly believed that the world had God all wrong and that she was an atheist. We continued to talk and she brought up that bad things happen to good people and we ended up inviting her to read Alma 14 to answer her question. My companion wasn't happy with all the bad things she said about God and religion and wasn't saying anything so we ended up leaving.

We have been working really hard this past week! We spent over 14 hours out knocking on doors or 2+ hours per day! We also went around to a bunch of different members and helped teach them how to share mormon messages and other good videos the church has come out with their friends.

We had a crazy elders only motivational mission wide conference call set up by our aps (assistants to the president) to motivate the missionaries to work hard because the sister missionaries are doing better.

Overall it was an awesome week! We got called on last minute to give a lesson in Elder Quorum without any preparation but it went well and that was a relief!

Haley, our investigator making the most progress is set to be baptized in a few weeks and we are excited for that!
