Week #99 - McCook Nebraska

This week was great! Haley came to church this week in spite of her anxiety about it and she really liked and I could tell she felt the spirit. Unfortunately, she had to leave after sacrament meeting, but it was good to see her there!

It was really hot at the beginning of the week and as usual on Tuesday we were out walking without a car! It was really rough but Elder Jensen and I did fine and endured the heat. We were out in 100+ degrees and high humidity for about 3 hours (with an hour break for service) it was crazy!

On Wednesday we had exchanges with the Zone Leaders and I got to serve with Elder Brinkerhoff for a day! We had a great day and worked hard! We had dinner with their ward mission leader and they fed us spaghetti and garlic bread. He offered sugar to put on our spaghetti and I took some for the sake of trying something new. It isn't that bad, but I'm not sure I would do it again haha.

We had a fantastic discussion at our district meeting focusing on helping our investigators develop a desire to come to church and how we can involve members of the church as well!

Well transfers are coming up! Within the next twenty four hours I will know with who and where I will be spending the last transfer of my mission, but unfortunately I won't be able to let you know until next week!
